Does handoff work when you are in sip mode? I am sure when I had it as a minet, it worked. Same thing for the desktop client, it does not even have the icon for handoff or transfer since changing to sip.

Thanks

Need more information ....
what is System type?
What is system version?
How is the extension programmed , is it in a PRG or MDU group?
is sip softphone running locally on Lan or on smart device ?

are you using the MiCollab(UCA Client?) or mod call dialling , fo rmid call dialling with Sip trunks you will need a MBG as sip Proxy

if programmed properly and other group members are present in the group , then yes handoff should work

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

It is 3300 MXE running 12.0.3.15. UCA client is running 6.0.220 on MAS.
My desktop client is running on the LAN and also have a smart device running.
They are in a PRG.
One other thing....When using the smart device, I have no audio in either direction when talking to another UCA smart device on the same system. Talking to anything else is ok

You would have to look into routing if one UCA smart device can't talk to another.

You can't duct tape stupid.

Thanks LoppyLou,

When you say routing, could you be more specific. The call gets established...just no audio

Thanks

the call will get setup from uca client to mcd and back to other uca client
the rtp will stream direct from uca client to uca client

if the uca smart devices are connected as teleworkers you can disable local streaming and then have th voice strezm from uca client via mbg to uca client

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thanks LoppyLou and Billz66 for your responses.
It seems my fix was upgrading MCD from 6 to 7. Now all my troubles went away.

Thanks Again
