I'm using UCA (V6.0.120.0) Which appear to be working fine apart from when I use the Tapi link with our CRM software.

When I click a number it tries to insert 99<number>, which 9 is our prefix for dialling out, but obviously having two nines causes it to fail.

So I go into the UCA server and remove the 9 prefix from the PBX config. Restart the client and try again. Now I get no prefix at all, which is confusing and also causes the number to fail.

If I manually dial from the client it works fine as I'm inputting the correct digits.

Could anyone suggest where I might be going wrong.

Known issue. Bad desktop client version.
Called Mitel tech support. They sent us v6.0.212.0 to fix

Oh dear. Looks like I'll be calling them on Monday then!

lowradiation,

I don't suppose you have a copy of that client for me to download?

Rob

For anyone who doesn't want to speak to Mitel, I downlaoded the next version down of the UCA iso and extracted the client from there which does work.

Typically I just use the notices send out by the UCA that there is an updated client and apply them.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

Thank you for this post! Doing the EXACT same thing, and having the issue too. Unfortunately, we are on the vUCC platform.
