Hello all,

I have a UC360 that is video enabled. I am using a Panasonic SP305 camera (supported). All software is up to date. Both devices are on the same network. The UC360 is able to detect the camera when I discover it using the settings of the UC360. I am able to make inbound and outbound audio calls from this UC360.

Here's my problem. When I click on the "self view" to see the camera feed and adjust the camera, there is no display to the HDMI device. I am able to browse to the camera and use the viewer software to see the video feed, so I know the camera works. All cables have been checked to know working equipment as well. Reboots of both devices do not work either.

Any thoughts?

Hi!

Tell me the FW of the Cam + UC360..
Are you already Using Ver. 2.1.2.8?

Silly questions:
Can you ping the camera and UC360?
Do you have the camera enabled on the UC360? If not, on the UC360, go to the camera setting and add it to the UC360. Make sure on MCD, you assign a correct "SIP device capability" to the UC360 extension. In that SIP device capability, you should enable the "allow device to use Multiple active M-line"
When you click on the enable button on the UC360, is the button green? If not, double click on the button.
Do you have the correct source selected on the HDMI source? I assume it's an HD TV with HDMI ports.

Check the documentation for the UC360, make sure the camera settings match what the documentation says. I've had the same problem before with a Panasonic camera and the video output settings were different than what the UC360 was looking for. Once I got that to match, it worked fine.

Are you able to present an app such as smart office from the uc360 to the hdmi display? Could be a display issue. Have you tried a different hdmi cable?

Do you ever get this resolved, I am having the exact same issue.
Thanks

Thanks all for the ideas.

I have not been able to get back to site for various reasons, mainly customer contact holidays. I am hoping to be back there this week. I did check the SIP Device Capability Form and found that I made a mistake. I had assigned the incorrect one to this UC360. That error has been fixed remotely, but I have not had the opportunity to physically check.

A few answers to your questions:

*Yes, the camera is enabled in the UC360.
*Yes, the camera and UC360 are pingable. In fact, as I mentioned, the UC360 was able to discover the Panasonic Camera. I did not have to enter in an IP address, only had to put in the username and passcode for the camera.
*UC360 FW is 2.1.0.13
*Panasonic Camera FW is 1.83
*Yes, the proper HDMI input on the TV was selected. I also disconnected a working HDMI device and plugged in the UC360 to that input and was unable to get the display to work.
*Documentation was checked for the Panasonic Camera settings as recommended by Mitel Docs.
*No, I have not tried a different app to check the display. I will do that if my other change did not fix.
*Yes, the HDMI cable was changed. I actually have 2 of these UC360s to install and both were having the same issues. I tried the HDMI cable from both boxes to make sure that was not the problem. If the problem comes down to the SIP Device Capabilities number I used being incorrect, that would make sense that both had the same problem.
