Hi,

I have one UC110 in version 8.1.77.

The administration interface and One-X Portal are unavailable, I have this error message:

someone has already had this problem?

Thanks for your response.

Did you try a reboot?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

yes I've already tested, the result is the same.

What do you see on the monitor when you reboot the UCM?
I assume the errors you have are from the webinterface?

Yes The error is from the webinterface.

For the moment, I have not an HDMI Screen, so I can't test....

I can maybe re-install a full image with one usb Stick but the problem is that I can't loose the One-X Portal data from my client.
He added a lot of phone number.

Do you know how to backup this data? I can use SSH connection.

Is the 1XP webinterface broken too?
If yes then reinstall.
1XP can make a backup so if this data is important then a backup should have been make once in awhile.

Probably there is a file where all settings are kept but i really have no clue which one this is.
My best advice is to connect a monitor to the UCM and reboot the unit.
Probably your SSD is broken as it looks like read only.

OK I'm going to get an HDMI screen and see what happens.

Thank you

You can use a DVI monitor also, just need an HDMI to DVI cable (cheap as chips).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

We have had serveral of the UC module show the same Error msg you have above..

also if you use System status service alarms you may see UC module heartbeat failure.

We had to replace each one so far... Not sure what is causing it.. and running 8.1.56 of most of them but, not all.

Yes but you can only add a 100 per user but more with 1XP so those will be lost.

Hi

I have had 3 UCM cards fail on me this week. All had the same error as yours. I tried to rebuild but with no luck. They have all had to be replaced.

All 3 sites had unexpected power cuts and it seems when the power come on the cards never restarted and produced the error heartbeat failure.

I've had my Avaya account manager Kate in this week and told her we will not be selling any more of these cards as they are very unstable and Avaya do not have any answers as to why they are son unstable!!!!

Nick

What happens is that the SSD gets broken.
Avaya should have never removed the battery option and supply them with a battery.

Hi,

I checked in system status service alarms but I haven't the message "heartbeat failure".

Is it possible to reinstall with usb Stick or should I replace the UC110 server?

My first one died this week the same way. No Heartbeat Failure, just the Traceback thing from the 7070 login page. I was using VMPro and not using 1X. I was able through Voicemail Pro Client to export the database. Through SSH client I copied the Accounts, Names, Greetings, and custom wav folders. Backup to the USB failed saying my media was full, backup to the UC backup folders said failed because of Read Only. I did an IPO reboot from Manager, no success. I did an IPO shutdown from Manager. The UC Mod never came back, SSA showed the Heartbeat Failure. Due to workload, I replaced the UC Mod and restored VMPro from my copied folders and my exported mdb. Hopefully after this week I can try the re-image to see if I can restore the UC Mod.

keep me informed if you can restore the UC Module.

Regards

media full"... "read only filesystem"... Hmm...

How much disk space is available? Did CentOS mount the LVM disk properly?
Linux commands "df" and "mount" will be useful here.

SSH to the UC module.

The following example is from a small Server Edition but the output should be similar.

I know this is more basic so forgive me if I am stating the obvious.

Make sure the UC Module IP address is on the same subnet as LAN 1. It has to be a different IP address then LAN 1 but the IPO500 communicates to the UC Module through that port
