Notes on a UC110 PCS2 repalcement installation today.
PCS3 is not available in Australia with distributors yet, hopefully in the next few days.
Had a customer's 2nd UC110 in two months experience heartbeat failure.
Took a third UC110 unopened to site and was unable to log in using default password at release 8.0
Reimaged ISO and was unable to log in with new 8.1+ password (or any other variation). UC was otherwise ticking along fine.
Gave up and installed VMPRO and Admin suite service on Win 7 laptop.
Tried ignition address from server instead of tech lappy and got a log in for ignition on the UC110. Then was unable to log in using putty/WinSCP (trying to slide WAVS across).
A door opens, revealing a locked door.
Continued installation of Win 7 VMPro.
Also of note: was surprised I was able to import the UC110 .mdb, WAVS and users straight into Win 7, contrary to what has been previously discovered in other posts. This may or may not be relevant for PCS3 installs.
