Hi

I know there a pain by for some reason we keep selling them.

I tried the R9 upgrade zip file and nothing would upload. I eventually put them in one by one (it took ages). Now the OneX portal wont upgrade. I keep getting this message

"java-1.7.0-openjdk is needed by oneXportal-9.0.0-523.noarch"

Ive rebooted laptop/IPO/Card and updated jave on my laptop but no joy

Any help would be good

Nick

You will need to upgrade it by USB.
You cannot just upload the rpm's and upgrade them.
8.x uses java version 6 and 9.0 uses java version 7 for 1XP.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Just had same problem.

Upgrading from 8.1 to 9.0 the UC module failed to load the java-1.7.0-openjdk dependencies.. All other updates worked. All call function is working except the OneX portal software update.

Problem Clarification
Upgrading from 8.1 to 9.0 the UC module failed to load the java-1.7.0-openjdk dependencies.. All other updates worked
Cause
Documentation to upgrade from 8.1 is not clear

Solution
Full reinstall resolved UC Module issue with One-X. BP did a full install of UC Module at 9.0 without upgrading to resolve issue.

TLPeter:
Can you clarify what you said about upgrading the oneXportal using the USB?

Did you mean there is a way to just upgrade the oneX using USB after the fact or that you need to comepletly re-install everthing using the USB

You need to do a full upgrade from 8.1 to 9.0
It is documented how to do this.

Back up your data on the v8.1 using "Superuser" and use the unbootn software to load the iso file on a flash drive.
Also read the note on the supported flash drive (I had issues with different flash drives)this is quite easy to do.
