Hi all,

I have a newly acquired customer with a UC module that is not working. I've brought it back to the office, plugged it into my 9.1 system and initially it did come up with 0.0.0.0 as the IP address and only VM Pro running. on a shutdown and reboot it allocated itself a 10.185.xxx.xxx address. I've tried to remimage with a later version of 9.0 and also 9.1 but it brings up a screen asking the language, then a screen for the keyboard and whether I want to overwrite the hard drive with Yes, No and Advanced as the options. When I say yes it brings up a bug dialogue box with the option to debug or save or exit. No just exits and I haven't tried Advanced.

If it has gone into write protect mode can it be reimaged or should I just use the embedded Preferred license and an external server?

Kind regards,

Jamie

The fact that its asking for language and keyboard is a strong hint that the USB key hasn't been setup properly. Please read the UCM install manual.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I haven't done many of these but I have followed the upgrade steps using Rufus to set up the USB key with a freshly downloaded ISO. I know they can be a bit fussy as to the USB key even so it's the same USB key as I have used for the others. It might be worth spending a bit more time on it and I might try the Advanced option with respect to formatting the "hard drive" if asked.
