8 sites within SCN
digital sets used not ip
remote sites are all using thier own UC-110 module and the main site is using a server
IP500 running 8.0.44 on all sites
UC running patch 8.0-1007.0_el6 on remote sites
mix and match of 4 - 6 ports on the remote sites
40 - 60 users at remote site
seeing no failed ports and or atb for the ports
5-8% of memory and 26 - 30 % is disc space used on the UC-110
not seeing any issues and or fixes with UC-110 8.0.x updates
anyone else having such issues with 8.0.44

the only thing that looks odd is the voicemail ip address on the VM tab with manager is not the default 169.254.0.2 which is the internal one used for the IP Office and the UCM to communicate but is in fact the same ip address as the voicemail pro address used to acccess and manage via web access.

thank you in advanced
cheers : )

I suggest you read your instillation documents very carefully

IP office configured in a SCN must have a central VM Pro.
Additional VM Pros can be configured as distributed servers.
The Ip address of the UCM in system/Voicemail should never be changed.

Based on your brief description of the set-up I believe that your configuration is violating all of these rules.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Indeed, you should use only one VMPro server or use distributed.
But the UCM is only supported up to 6 sites.
You could try to set these UCM's up as distributed but i doubt if this will work.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I wasn't sure weather or not a UCM could be used as a distributed server, but I cant find anything in the docs to say is shouldn't work.

looks like Avayauser is not bothering to follow up on suggestions anyway

IPGuru

thank you all for your responses as I as well could not find anything that says it does not support distributed server for UC , I will post when we have a resolve in that the issues appeared to have cleared.

again thank you for your responses !

cheers : )

If they didn't say it before hey will now, it will be their "get out" of the issue, they will state it isn't suitable for use as a distributed server :)
