Guys,

I'm having an issue with setting up AA on a PC connecting to a UC Module and Voicemail Pro client...
I'm using Short codes and after saving the callflow, it is not playing when I dial the short code on the phone...I'm getting unobtainable
Avaya 9611G (phone model)

I rebooted both the PBX system and UC Module and still the same message

Please help!!!

Also, how did you setup the shortcodes?

Did you use the 'voicemail node' or the 'voicemail collect' shortcode?

And where did you enter the startpoint in VM pro?

Shortcodes or modules?

Hmmn...
the IP Office is 10.0.0.1.0 build 53 and
the UC Module is 10.0.0.3.0 build 5...(libertyinstaller)

Short oode:
Short code: *801
Feature : Voicemail Node
Telephone : AA_Main

Yes Startpoint in VM Pro...Short codes

When I dial *801 it says Unobtainable

Unobtainable" is a IP Office message and not a VMPro error.
Try another shortcode like *99 and use monitor as it is build for this kind of trouble, enable "Shortcodes" in the filter and you will actually see what the problem is.
A much better solution as asking here because there can be at least a dozen reasons why it doesn't work.

I started Monitor and after I dial *17 it says Unobtainable...the monitor says Voicemail Pro not operational!!!

When I tried the *99 shortcode it shows the feature as Voicemail Collect but in the Manager its saved as Voicemail Node, on top of which it says Voicemail Pro not operational

Don't understand why its says Voicemail Pro not operational as I'm watching in it System Status which says it is!!!

UCM version 1 requires a preferred license of it is just installed as R10
It works without if it is an upgrade

Looks like a license issue to me.

But it is not the shortcode. VM pro isn't running for sure..

I had installed the IP Office/UC Module prior to the site and everything worked fine...
Upon reaching the site, I was told the IP Addressing scheme had changed and I had to change the IP for everything...and that's when it went to hell...
So I can't be a license issue because it was working before.

What I may have to do is to update everyone to the latest release and hopefully not have to rebuild the UC Module

Will update

It would work without a license for 2 hours then stop
The IP addressing should not be an issue because if you set it to UCM as voicemail then it will use an internal IP only anyways

I'm using the latest release in the 9.1.1100.202 Server
9.1.1000.192 UC Module
they work great together.

However, looking at yours I believe you're safe/correct.

Others can chime in on this; but you shouldn't see the AA come up in Manager with the UC Module inserted.

Reason is because the telephone system thinks you're going to use VMP for call routing and even if you change the setting
System > Voicemail
Voicemail type to embedded, then the UCM becomes unavailable.

thanks much for the feedback guys...will update this thread

Did you change the IP Address for the UCM before changing the IP Office? Just changing the IP Office address will not change the UCM address. You will need to change the address for the IP Office back to the original and see if the VM answers. If this happens log into the UCM webpage and change that address first then the IP Office address reboot all and it should work. It sounds like the VM is not talking to the IPO.

Mike...thanks but that was working after I reset/reimage the UC Module, at least the Voicemail was...but after I logged in using Voicemail Pro client and created the call-flow nothing worked!

GUys,

If im' right R10 is PLDS, he said that he change the ip adresse, is it only for server edition that the host id change when you change the ip or also on ip 500V2 ?
If the host id is changed, he have to regenerate the licence.
