UC Adavance 3.2, Directory Sync no working

We were using UCA3 and the direcotory sync was working fine, we then moved to 3.2 (this was a nightmare) but is now working. But I've found now that the Active Directory sync is not working. You click sync and it says that it is successful, but none of our new staff appear. I've recreated the connector and tried again, it's successful, but no new users.

I've checked licenses, we have plenty spare. I've checked the event logs and nothing is bouncing out at me.

Active directory is 2003, and if you need to know the Mitel is MCD 4.1.

Have you check field mappings within synchronisation profile on UC Server. PBX Node=pager, does that correspond with what you have in AD.

expanding on MitelAU's answer you must have a PBX entry and a DN for it to import the user now, previously you only needed a PBX entry

Cheers guys, yes the pager mapping is setup and the users do have a valid DN in their IP phone field. But still no joy.

make sure your search context is the root, ie DC=microsoft,DC=com i have seen issues where it doesnt like longer info in here and that the user query is blank, if this does still not work run tcpdump -s 0 -w filename.pcap from the shell transfer the file to your pc using winscp and then open the file with wireshark, use LDAP as a filter and you will see the attempt to sync, this will tell you why it is failing.

Hi, I gave up as it was suspected that there were issues with the UC upgrade.

I have now re-deployed a fresh install of UCA4 from the vmware ova file. All is working fine.
