Dear All,
I have problem with my cisco uBR 7223, new PC that's connected to cable modem can't get IP address from DHCP server (Cisco Network Registrar). each time I connect new PC to Cable modem , then I should reboot cisco uBR 7223 in order to new PC get it's IP address, I think we no need reboot cisco uBr in order to new PC reach it's IP.
Would you give me reason about this problem ?

Note : when this problem appear I see in log file that DHCP server stuck in waiting dhcp request from PC, I reboot ubr7223 and problem fixed

I think you would need to expire the DHCP lease.
The lease is specific for the MAC address.

Otherwise; you could from an enabled state:

UBR7200# clear cable host <MAC ADDRESS of computer>
UBR7200# clear cable modem <MAC ADDRESS of MODEM> reset

This is, of course, after you have found the MAC addresses.

UBR7200> sho cable modem <IP or MAC of modem>

that output will show you the cable interface and SID... then do :

UBR7200> sh int <interface> modem <SID>

ie: sh int Cable3/0 modem 133 or whatever your number are

That will show you the modem and the computer(s) behind it with their IP and MAC address

Good luck
