My TZ170 has stopped supplying private IP addresses to more than 2 clients. SonicWALL technical support has no answer for me. Have uninstalled software, reinstalled software. Have unplugged and replugged appliance. Have 50 licenses and unlimited nodes, so that is not the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have seen this happen when a firmware update does not install properly I would try backing up the config and reapplying the firmware the importing the config

Hi Jeremy - that was part of the answer. TZ 170 worked for almost 3 months with no problems. Stopped working 1 week ago with power outage. Firmware corruption didn't show up on any diagnostics. Took till yesterday for a tech at SonicWALL to try reinstalling from scratch (at my week-long suggestion). Somehow when power outage occurred firmware switched to evaluation version (thus allowing 2 nodes to work) from enhanced OS. Then with reinstall of firmware using old settings was working intermittently. I think my problem was more my ignorance than anything else - 1st VPN. I didn't set up originally. SonicWALL technical staff random and not always the best. Problem corrected now and very happy.
