I have been researching this for a while now, and haven't been able to come up with a solution. Maybe someone here has done something similar.

We have an IPO at our office and a Partner system at a remote site. I am looking for a device to put on an open analog CO port on the Partner that will then show up as a VOIP extension on the IPO. We don't require the ability to call individual extensions on the Partner, just ring one incoming line at one station. When that line is selected, it should be like picking up an analog phone on the IPO.

I assume I need a h.323 device to mimic a voip phone. I have seen the Mediatrix 1102 online, but it seems to need quite a bit of configuration. That does not really worry me, but I'm wondering if there's a better or easier way.

The IPO is a IP406 D5 running version 3.0(59). We already have some AVAYA 5610SW IP Phones on the system that work well.

What have others done to tie an older key system to an IPO?

Thanks
Tom

a H323 ATA is what you want and don't forget to get this working on the IPO you will need the 3rd Party Endpoint License to get the ATA to work.
