Two VM boxes One DN

I have a customer who has a 7.0 MICS w Call Pilot 100 3.0 . He has an existing line L001 that forwards to VM. He wants to add a line (call it Line 002) that he wants to forward to a separate VM box. I am thinking of ways to do this:

1. Use the CP100- Leave his his extension as is for L001 to forward to his DN VM. Add line 002 to appear and ring on set. Set CP100 to ANS L002=Yes and use Greeting x. Downside-No MW light on 2nd line.

2. Add line 002 to appear and ring on his DN, and L002 on the Conference room DN to appear only and forward to VM of this DN 22. He can access the VM 22 for this line 002, and can see the MW light from where he sits.

3. create express messagaging for l002 in a guest VM box. Downside- line doesn't ring on his set.

Please offer any suggestions, corrections, or better ways to do this. Thanks!

or use a AA/ccr and have aa pick up after 4 rings stating if u would likre to leave a msg for "insert persons name here"press 1 nad have the ccr path 1 to lvmsg

It sounds to me like you don't need anything that elaborate. If you just want that line to go to a mailbox, (rather than a full AA/CCR- press 1 for this, 2 for that...) just assign that line to appear and ring on a set that doesn't ring with other lines, and call forward no answer that extension to VM. Build a mailbox for that extension, record your greeting, and bask in the praise of a job well done.

I agree. That's the only solution that seems to work. I used the conference room DN to add the new line to appear and ring there, as it does on his DN. It seems to work fine. The only problem might be if they have a conference call and a call comes in on the new line and rings (it doesn't work with appear only).
I have seen solutions like this, ending with digital sets in closets and drwaers. Now I know why! I was hoping to achieve a "virtual set" solution, but it doesn't seem to fly with the Norstar.
