1. There is a bar to the left of every form with an arrow at the top. How do I get rid of it?

2. How do I make it so when the form is open it will automatically start with a new record?

Thank you for all of your help.

1. On the properties of the form - change Record Selectors to be "No"

2. Many different ways, but the easiest for a beginner is to create a macro.

New-Macro

GO To Record - New

Have that macro run on Open property of the form..

Thank you, works perfect. Another thing if you have time...

I have changed the order of the fields in the forms. Now when I tab through them it skips around in the form. Is there any way to change this order?

I know I am pushing it, but again thank you for your help.

To change the order of your tabbing you can right mouse click on a little black box in the design view of your form. Its in the upper left hand corner right under your tool bars. And then select Tab order and change the order!!

Ha you guys are great, thanks for all your help. Kind of funny how I can create this giant DB and I can't figure out these little simple tasks. Once again, thank you
