Hi everyone,

I have this problem. I need to make a report, which shows chart and table.
Chart has data from table_1, which contains data such as time, error count.
Table has data from table_2, which contains data such as timeOfStart, problem, timeOfEnd.
Problem is: table_1 has 10 rows and table_2 has 4 rows for example... The result is chart with 10 rows and table with 40 rows...

Is there any possibility how to use these tables separately. I mean without making a scalar product? (table_1*table_2)

I need to print 4 rows from table_2 and to display 10 values from table_1 in chart.

Please help me to solve this problem, I'm new to crystal reports. I'm using CR XI R2.

Are you joining the tables, if so, on what?

Since you understand the term scalar, one would think that you'd think it important to post technical information, such as join types and the database being used.

If the tables aren't joined, then create a subreport in the report header section of the main report for the graph and place the table in the main report.

Or you can simply use INSERT->GROUP on the unique field and place your fields in the group header or group fotoer and suppress the details.

I'm using XML as data source. Those tables aren't joined.
I tryed grouping on unique field and the result is that it shows me only one row. After I clear graph it shows all table rows. Any idea where can by problem?

Try an unlinked subreport in the report header or footer for one of the tables.
