Hi there,

I have a bcm400 and I`m trying to get a bell to ring the same time as an digital ext No.

I have a Digtal Ext 6045 , I also have a analougue line set up which is connected just to a bell Ext 6043.
How Do I make 6043 ring at the same time as 6045?
Basicly I just want two exts to ring when one is dialed.
Many Thanks Paul

Not a simple answer. You can't put an Answer DN on an analog port. So you need switch ext. #'s on the digital and analog, and put an Answer DN for on x6045 for x6043.

"Adversity is Opportunity

To save you the analog port use the auxiliary ringer port on the bcm instead by setting "aux ringer" to "yes" on X6045.

my problem will be that I have to set up 3 bells for our factory, these are all in different areas.

what is the normal practice?

Thanks again Paul

If the 3 bells have to ring at the same time, like night ringer, use the aux.ringer port but if its to have loud ringer on 3 different extensions then you have no choice but to use analog ports and set it as dewey mentionned.
