two operators

I am trying to get two operators through AA. I tried a hunt group but you only get one call. Both recpt. have 8 intercoms and need to take advantage of all of them.

well if you want to use hunt group and recieve more than 1 call you can try an make the inbound trunks appear on sets and see if it screws up the system enough to allow second call to ring in...hunt group is a acd and will not allow second call in untill you hang up first call..also have main phone programmed in hg and secondary as the overflow ext"not a hg" or visa versa depending on who u want to get bulk of calls...
also read up an swca feature to see if it fits ur needs

The way that I always do this is....

Set the operator extension to through the auto attendant to something that isn't being used. Then give an answer DN button to the two operator phones for that extension number. That way, when the call is routed to the operator it will ring on both phones, but personal calls to their actual DN will still only ring on the correct phone.

oh wait...i just noticed that you wanted 8 calls at once....
put 8 intercom buttons on the fictious DN.
