I just setup 2 NEC SL1000 pabx using Planet FXO voip gateway in order both pabx can communicate. it's like central office and branch office, with configuration like this:
Central Office pabx:
Hunting Group extn : 2
member group extn : 120,130,140,150
Analogue extn: 100
Digital extn : 110
Branch Office pabx:
Hunting Group Extn: 1
Member group extn: 220,230,240,250
Analogue extn: 200
Digital extn : 210
Testing process on central office:
Analogue extn 100 dial 1 and get dial tone, then wait for 5 second to get tone from voip gateway.
after hear tone, then press extention 200 in order to communicate to branch office.
the result is perfect. both extn can communicate as normally.
but when i try above step on digital extn (110) on central office, it doest not run. i get second tone from voip gateway but when i press extention, the digital phone not response.
Detail step that i done like this on digital phone.
Digital phone extn 110 dial 1 and get dial tone, then wait for 5 second to get tone from voip gateway.
after hear tone, then press extn 200, but the phone not response tuts that i pressed, no tone.
the problem happen only on digital phone.
so what should i do to fix the problem.
