We have two complete legend systems in the same room. We have everything working but we cannot page across systems. Anyone know what we need to do to get the paging to page all phones on both systems. Thanks

I almost sure you can't voice announce across the network of the 2 legends.

Do you have the two systems connected - either via tie lines or a T1 module?

Yes they are connected via T1, you can call system to system just by dialing the extention x211 for example, but the caller ID does not work from system to system.

Can you page ANY phone from one system to the other? For example, if you set up a paging group in System A - and put one or two extensions from the other system as the only members. Will that paging group work or not when paged from System A?

Intercom voice WILL NOT WORK over the T1. PERIOD!

However, if you have some ANALOG TRUNKS, and some ANALOG (T&R) Extensions in each system, the following may work for you:

Connect an ANALOG (Loop Start) Trunk port on SYSTEM A to an ANALOG (T&R) Station port on SYSTEM B.

Set the Auto Line Select on the T&R Port to SYS ACC VOICE.

Program the TRUNK PORT ON SYSTEM A to be a Single Digit Pool. (Or put it on a BUTTON on everyone's phone)

Now, users on SYSTEM A can (1) Dial the Single Digit Pool Number (Or access that button) and (2) Make Voice Calls to System B.

Do the same, in reverse from B to A and you should be good to go.

I consider this workable, but somewhat clunky.....

Thank you, I will have the Merlin programmer try it out. And for the previous question, the answer is no we cannot page from system A to system B, it will not let us addd the extentions from system B on system A.
