Customer needs two greetings on there CP 100 3.0 Only one will play at a time. Two different Dentists are On Call on alternating weeks. The receptionist needs an easy way to toggle between the two. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Dave

Record 2 greetings in AA/GTRG/GTRG/1 and 2

Receptionist:
In AA/TABLE/1/Evening/ change to 1 or 2.

Thats all I can think of off hand.

Curlycord,

Thanks for your suggestion. I think I'll do it that way for them.

Another way would be to have the Gen. Mbox answer and record prime as message 1 and alt. as message 2. Then the receptionist can choose which one plays.

I'm going with yours!

Thanks, Dave

it's usually easier for a recep. to chg prime/alt grtgs versus going into vmail programming and messing with areas she may not be to sure about, not unless you have one of those tech type which most aren't... the less work is usually the better. So dsidave you may want to go with your idea with the GD.

You also may want to try having one CCR Tree (1) in the day and one CCR Tree (2) answer at night.

I think this can be done.

If they don't need a business closed greeting, you could set that to greeting 2, and the others to greeting 1. They could use f982 to toggle back and forth.

Play the 2nd greeting in the non business greeting and close the business F982 when you want it to play.

Just to make clear:
F982 Could be used to force system out of the non-business greeting to the regular attendant tree(for ex: in the morning)?
How does Sunday shedual in Callplot should look when business is closed?

When you close the business 'F982' the only greeting that plays is the non-business until you open the business.Your CCR trees still play at the times you have set up.

Thanks
When i do f982 the systems response is "not allowed" any ideas?

You can't do F982 on a 7208 set!
Make sure you are using an M7310 or T7316 to program as you need a two line display and the three soft keys underneath!
