My customer bought a cs1000k from a broker and was told that the softwre was as follows. But after firing uo the system we got a different software and different system id.The broker says it is correct and will work fine. The actual software and system id are different and seem like it is fo a much bigger system than an option 11 cabinet will work with.

The dongle ID is the important part. It's not from a Option 11c system!. It's from the larger Option 61/81 range.
The keycode details need to pair up with the Dongle ID.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

So what I'm understanding is this system will not work as it sits?
Even if it has a blade server attached.

It's a 1000E system type, not a 61 or 81. Everything now is considered a large system. I'm curious why you bought one thing and got another though. The architecture in a 1000E and an Opt.11 running 4.5 is completely different. Your key code is for a CPPM card also.

It does have a cppm card. But the broker swears that the system is the same.

Well the broker is wrong, an Opt. 11 and a 1000E are 2 different machines. They may have the same licenses but a CPPM and an SSC card are completely different animals and licenses differently. For example in the 11 it will say digital telephones where in the 1000E it will say traditional telephones. The end result may be the same but they definitely didn't buy an Option 11 like they thought they did.

If the option 11 cabinet has a cppm card with an mgc card will that work? I know it seems like I am going around in circles but I want to make sure before we go back to the broker.

Yes, the CPPM card in an Option 11 cabinet with an MGC card is a 1000 E Cabinet and will work just fine. The MGC card goes in slot 0 and the CPPM card can go in any slot.

Any slot except 0, sorry. The MGC card has to go in 0 and I would put the CPPM card right next to it in slot 1.

So it is possible that the system was upgraded? but the serial key should be the same right?

The dongle ID for an Option 11 and a 1000E will be different since everything now is considered a large system. The old dongle is suppose to be destroyed when a new one is issued against the original ID.

i have one last question regarding the cppm card. When does a cpp4 card come into play? Does the system size matter?

Sorry for all of the questions but what determines large system versus small system if the software is all one flaver?

So the version on the system is 6.00 is for the cppm

No, the version is 4021, the software release is 6.0
