I have two different DID blocks coming into my system:

565-47xx and 862-45xx

Our users would like to have the option of sending out the main number caller ID or their personal ext caller ID. I had this setup with two short codes, 9 would dial out with the main caller ID and 7 would dial out with a personal extension.

The 7 shortcode would dial out with the following as it's "telephone number": Ns801565e

Unfortunately, now that I have added the 45xx extensions, they are going out with the wrong prefix on the extension. Is there a better way to implement this? Can I give the 862-45xx extensions the option do dial out with the correct prefix on their extension without having to setup a separate shortcode for users with a 45xx extension?

Thanks!

You could assign it via User Rights. Then assign that user rights group to the appropriate people (versus doing it under each personal user).

If you don't send any digits what does the CID come up as? I have this setup where 9 dials out with the Ns5555555 for callers that want to send the main number and 8 dials out just as N and pushes out the individual DID associated with that extension.

If I don't specify a number it only sends out the 4 digit extension. 45xx or 47xx
