Two circuits from different providers - Possibe?

I currently have a T1 from provider ABC and have a PRI from provider XYZ which is ready to be turned up on my MICS 4.0. ABC's T1 is the primary clock source. However, XYZ says they MUST provide line timing on their PRI, there is no other way to provision. I called ABC and their tech told me the same thing about their T1. So, I am faced with having two cards being a primary clocking source which is, if not entirely impossible, at least downright dangerous. Is there any way around this? Or am I misunderstanding the whole 'clocking source' concept? Is there anyone out there that has two circuts from two different carriers on a MICS? (BTW - I do need both lines up and running in parallel for at least a little while for DID reasons; I will shut down the one after I have the DID's ported to the other. But right now I REALLY need the DID's associated with each circuit.)

Thank You

only 1 can be pirmary

system can have 3 T1's and can be from 3 diiferent carriers

If you're changing providers entirely, you can do the target line programming ahead of time, and change the clock source at the time of the cut.

I'd reccommend scheduling a time with the customer, though, to temporarily cut over to the new circuit to test outbound calls before the cutover.

Thanks. Yeah, I ended up putting the new circuit in loopback until the DID's are ported from the current one. Looks like a hot cutover is my only choice.
