I work at a church and I have my operator on a 4424LD+ and I have a spare. I would like to put the spare on my desk for programming needs so I dont have to bother her with it. Is this possible?

As long as it's connected to one of the first 5 station ports, you can desginate it as the system programming station.

Ok. Thank you. How do I know what the first 5 are? I dont know a thing about Avaya

What is the extension number for the operator? Usually that position is the first. So say that the operator is X10, you can choose to put the other 4424LD+ on either X11, 12, 13 or 14.

Hey, Thanks for your help. I have got it up and running but now I have another issue. The ext. that was open (103) cannot dial out. I have looked at all the restrictions and ARS (i gave it a 6) but still cant get outside. Is there a way to totally wipe the extention.

On top of that our Merlin Messaging is fried as of today. Harddrive has crashed. So i can not get to that side of the phone system.

Thanks,
Austin

How far do you get when trying to get out (does it let you dial all digits, what then happens, etc)? Did you check Forced Account Code?

Firts we need to now the pools(70)and/or lines asign to that extension and then check the restriccions...

The port of extension 103 is the one you select for the second 4424LD+ ?
