What do you guys use to keep the cords from twisting up all the time?
I see these swivel things on amazon but they ALL have horrible reviews.
Anyone know of a good in line something I can put on my 9641G headset that keeps the cord from twisting up?

Oeps, something went wrong, me.
There are no decent solutions for it as far as I know and all customers do experience this annoying problem.
Mitel once had a desk phone here the handset was a DECT handset, that was the only proffessional attemt to solve it I ever seen.
But as things are : too expensive.

If it is really a problem then there is only one solution :)
A cordless handset (too bad it is Mitel)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Put the phone on the other side of the desk.

Pickup the handset with the left hand, so that the right hand is free for writing or mousing. :)

Use a cordless (DECT) headset. Multiple headset vendors have cordless headsets which work on the 9641G and include EHS (Electronic Hook Switch). With that, you can hear ringing directly in the headset, and answer/release calls using the headset.

@BlueMar - the handset that you posted a picture of was never placed into production by Avaya.

Tell the clients to stop twisting their handsets! They do it subconsciously as they pass the handset from hand-to-hand and twist it in the process! Just unplug the cord to let it untwist, or let the handset spin! It took a while to figure out what the cause is. Otherwise just keep an extra supply of cords. Some people never change their habits...
