Twinning with provider account codes

Has anyone gotten Mobile twinning to work with account codes done at the provider level? I have tried using a D in the string, a Y and ,,, nothing seems to get the call going. I have tried to use a short code and that will work but it makes the call like a fwd and not a twinned call. when i put anything in the number for twinning with Y or D or ,,, it doesnt show up in system status. it just shows the number and code with no spaces.
