Twinning Question

Since you all in the real world have had twinning for a while, now that it is available in the US can you tell me if this scenario would be better served by twinning or bridged appearences.
Office has two attendants, customer wants both to be able to answer and hold callers and when in a held state have the other attendant pickup that call (or run back and forth between the two locations/phones). Both will be using soft console also.
Would that be better servered by twinning the two phones?? Since we had only 3.1 until today I was going to try bridged appearences behind the main hunt group but twinning sounds like a better solution.
This customer is currently using a very square and old system. So what they are used to is all line on all phones and the new IPO is going to use PRI's without all those copper lines.

routing inbound calls to a Group & using call Park would work better than both bridged apperance & twinning.

twinning would not work for this scenario as you can only call the "Master" extn number & when either the Master or Slave is busy the extn is reated as busy.
 
Thanks IPGuru, unfortunatly they want something like their old system, at least for the two attendants. Each being able to pick up lines on either phone. I thought twinning might be able to make the two phone identicle but I guess not. I will push the soft console and parking of calls as the alternative for them
 
My twinning options for in the user section are none and mobile. How can I get the IPO to show internal and mobile as the two options?
 
if they have enough buttons,put
park 1
park 2
park 3
park 4
park 5
park 6

buttons on each phone. you can make the display read hold 1
hold 2
hold 3
hold 4
hold 5
hold 6

they can park to them[press the 'hold x' button], and retrieve from them[press the 'hold x' button]. if they do not know they are not hold buttons, i wont tell them, if you don't.
or tell them those buttons are system hold buttons, and you press the button to put it on system hold 1, or system hold 2, etc. also, if they retrieve a call from system hold one, and then put it on system hold 2, they have to tell the person they want to pick up the call from hold, which system hold button they changed it to.

see, it is almost exactly the same now, except they have 6 hold buttons. you could label them line 1, line 2, line 3, and tell them when they press the line button to put the call on hold, the system transfers the call to whatever line they press.

since they will have did's for users, i assume, they wont have more than 6 calls on 'hold' ever. it is close enough to what they are doing now, when you say it like that.
