I am trying to understand the mechanics of Mobile Twining.

When using TWINING to a cell will the system require the use of two analog lines or two PRI channels when it is in use? If the call is then taken on the cell for example will that call still be using two lines during the duration of the call? IF this is the case then what happens if lets say all analog lines are being used?

Twinning is not recommended with analog trunks.
If all lines are busy then twinning is impossible is it?

Yes it will use 2 trunks for the duration of the call, it's basically doing a conference call to get the caller and you on your cell phone on the call.

analog lines suck big time with twinning as it works like a forward (depending on the release it works better or worse) so if you have a decent Internet connection you could get a really cheap SIP provider and use it for just twinning calls. that requires VCM channels and SIP trunk licenses though.
That is sometimes even with a only a marginal Internet connection a better call than with 2 analog lines as the volume is lower and most likely not making you happy.
