TVP200BX system manager password recovery

Hi all.
I have an old TVP200BX in the company and no one know the password to *999.
Is there anyway to reset the password without resetting the whole box? How many digits can the password be? I see there is a rs232 port I wonder if it is possible to configure it over this port.

Hi kizo,

I tried to use rs232 console port to connect to the unit but unfortunately the admin password is locked due to too many password attempts. Hence I won't be able to issue any comment at all.

Turn off the device, wait 1 minute, then turn it on and you will get an additional 15 attempts.
Or contact your local distributor, they can get a backdoor password from Panasonic.
It is common for a user to forget password or break cooperating with the installer
or the installer dies ( Panasonic device lives longer than the installer )
