TVM Message notification

We have recently upgraded our TVP100 to a TVM50, We had used a numeric pager to notify us which mailbox had recieved a message ( by setting up th epager string to dial the paging service, then put in 5 x P's then th emailbox number) which worked fine, since we have changed to a TVM 50 , I can't get it to send the mailbox number to the pager, I just get a tone alert only. Anyone have any ideas on how to set up th epager dialling string?

I program the notification device to be a telephone and set the number to be the pager's tel number, a bunch of Pauses, and then the mailbox number twice, separated by a sextile followed by the octothorpe. The message I see on the pager is 202-202. This tell me I have voicemail waiting. Putting the octothorpe at the end forces the pager company to disconnect and the CPC received on my end drops the trunk a few seconds later. Works well. I'm using TVM200, but it will be the same on the 50.
