I have a TVM-50 voice mail box connected to a TDA-30 PBX.
We have a Custom Service prompt which allows the caller to dial "9" to get the call transfered to the cell phone for the manager on duty. Currently this uses the the "Tr to Out" option in the custom service menu and has the number to dial set to "9yyyyyyyyyy" where yyy is the cell number. What this does is makes the PBX pickup another line and dial the cell number. This is fine except it uses one of our precious outside lines in our office and limits the call to 10 minutes before our PBX drops both sides.
Our telephone lines have call transfer ability...we can hit Flash, dial the number to transfer the call to, hang up and the call is magically connected without having our PBX and our lines involved.
Can the Custom Service Menus use this method by having it first send the "Flash" command and then the cell number and then hangup?
