TVA50 calls tranferred will not go to voicemail box

I have a kxta824 with TVA50. Im new to the tva50. I have the greeting good to go with press 1 for directory, 2 for ext, etc. The problem is when a call is transferred either by a person pressing transfer followed by the ext or the call being routed via menus to an extension, the tva50 does not answer to the persons vm, it just rings endlessly. I would like the tva50 to go to the extensions vm after 10 secs or so.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Have you call forwarded the extension to transfer to voicemail under any conditions?

Thank you for reply! On the 824 I did fwd busy na. It now answers, however, all the phones (7736's) now flash the extension that forwarded. The direct dial programmable buttons always flash red every second. Like they are in dnd mode. Any ideas?
 
To clarify, I did the above in 9.2.2. ...Extension,feature settings, under "type" I did "fwd busy na" to destination 107( the tva50). Thanks again
