Tv Out Card

Can you watch a movie on Tv and still use your PC to do other things? What card would you advise in the 50.00-80.00 range? I am running a Ath 1200 Windows XP 396 ram. Thanks ahead of time.

The one card I know for sure you can do this with is one of the dualhead Matrox cards, best bang for the buck is the G450. You might be able to get one for cheap off eBay - if it doesn't come with an adapter to make the 2nd display rca video out or S-Video out, they're available on Matrox's site for like $5 plus shipping.

The GeForce 2 MX card that I own has a tv-out.
You can clone your monitor to the tv or even expand your desktop and play a movie on the tv and do other stuff on your monitor.

I believe that the GeForce 4 MX has the same features.
