Tutorials needed.. pls help me=(

I'm currently working on this interface which requires me to create an ancient rope, anchor and hook using adobe photoshop.. erm well.. i'd tried editing from pictures from the net but it turned out to be rather fake... so anyone can provide me with some useful tutorials on how to create the above named items? or maybe u can tell me what are the websites that are providing these tutorials...
