My customer wants to have the ability to turn off and on the Auto Attendent with a button on the console. Is this possible?

Thanks

you can use the night button, then use idc tables so that the auto att works only in nights.. another way if to forward a dn using rcfw.. if the atdn for the auto att is 1000, make 1000 a single line set, then forward that to either the console or the mail.. rcfw can be placed on a adl key

That is what NIT1 is for in the CDB. When console goes in NIT, whatever is defined in NIT1 happens; so make NIT1 the SDN of your auto attendant.

Does the customer want to turn the console 100% off every time the auto Attendant is on? If they go into Nite, the console is not going to take any calls

If they want to toggle the Auto-Attendant just to defer callers while the console remains available for other calls, maybe something along the lines of a side phone at the Operators station that was essentially the voice mail DN and the Operator coulod CFW it to VM or the Attendant. Seems kinda risky, but... a start

I tried the changing the nit1 to the sdn but the application builders time of day table takes over and sends it back to the attendant.

Thanks

Sounds like some modification needs to be done to the application in the Call Pilot.

remove the tod if you want to control without a tod problem

If I turn off the time of day, how will the receptionist recieve the calls instead of the auto attendant?

Thanks
