Could someone please tell me how to remove this feature, so missed calls will go directly to voice mail?

I've been reading the manual for hours, but nothing makes sense.

What you want is a very expensive answering machine, right?

Basically what you need to do is remove the CO lines from the AA then assign them line coverage. Then you assign a line coverage extension where all those lines will go to.

Read your documentation but I have the feeling that this is going to be a bit over your head. Better to have your Avaya dealer handle this for you. There is the possibility that you could disrupt your companies phone service if you mess up.

Hey Hal, I looked over the documentation and although there's a section on how to assign extentions, I'm finding nothing on how to remove the AA altogether.

What does CO stand for?

Thanks. I'd try to go through Avaya but it takes about an hour to reach anyone.

pay a tech to set it up correctly for you

Feature 00, Left Intercom button twice, #206, group 7, line 01, i think if you press 3 it should say VMS Cover Line.

#208, line 01, enter whoevers extension you want that line to go to. It will then go to that persons voicemail.
