we have a norstar system and we have it set up so that the AA answers the line after 4 rings, during those 4 rings we do not hear the ringer, the lcd flashes to show an incoming call. we want to change it so that the phone rings and we can pick up that call before the AA answers it for us. any help ?

You'll need access to installer programming-
It's under Terminals&Sets/Line Access/Line Assignment. Change the setting from Appear Only to Appear & Ring for each line.
Be a little careful, though. If the extension you're changing is forwarded to vm at less than 4 rings, the calls will go to that user's mailbox instead of your main greeting.

Yes, that's the wrong password. We can't post passwords on this site, but if you google a Norstar installation manual, I'm sure you'll find it pretty quickly.
If you're going to be responsible for programming changes, you'll want to have a manual on hand, anyway.
