can anyone please tell me how to enable the auto save feature in windows 98.
I know it is possible to automatically save work in progress but cannot for the life of me find the answer !
thanx,

Suzie,

If you are talking about the autorecover function in the office products.

It is on the tools menu,

Go to the "options" option and click on the "save" tab. You can put in the save every "n" minutes there.

I think Suzie meant that she wants the feature to automatically be applied each time Word is opened. I have come into the same issue at work. You can set the option through Tools\Options\Save, but when you close Word and reopen it, the option is blank again. I have been searching for code to set this as an automatic default in my normal.dot and nothing seems to work. If anyone has code or ideas, I'd love to know.

Thanks!
