Can someone tell me how to disable ticketing in NFuse 1.61.

This is the error I'm getting,

"ERROR: The Citrix XML Service (on Citrix MetaFrame server) could not to generate a ticket because the ticket tag was null."

I get the appropriate icons for my apps when I logon to the NFuse page, but when I try to launch the app I get the above error message.

Thank You

I would guess that it can be turned off by removing the [NFuse_Ticket] tag from your template ICA file, and disabling autologins.

I haven't actually done this, but I'm going on the premise that in order to enable ticketing, this entry is added by the Web Site Wizard, therefore removing it should disable ticketing. Also remove any user credential Tags.

Or maybe re-running the Website Wizard, and diabling ticketing would do the trick.

Backup your template ICA files first!

I hope this helps

check the citrix webiste, there is a hotfix for ticketing errors.....

hope this helps

Thanks CitrixEngineer, that hit the spot. Removing the [NFuse_ticketing] tag did the trick.

I used to use the install wizard to remove it but that option is not available in 1.61.

Also, NFuse 1.61 did not come with any web-site wizard to like the older versions.

OH well!

Thanks Again 8)

PS to Jon. I did check Citrix's website and they had an article on my exact problem. But thier solution was to make sure that FR1 was activated. I don't have a license for FR1. Thanks for your help.

Hi there...

I noticed that you have NFuse 1.6 up and running. I'm seeking some help in getting my NFuse up and running and I'm wondering if you can assist me.

If in inside of my LAN everything works fine. Outside of the LAN I can log on but when I try to launch a published app it tells me that there is no citrix server.

I've been trying now for about 2 months to figure this one out but unable to do so.

You can write me directly at smcleod@rasmac.com

You need to setup an ALTADDR on your Citrix Server and a NAT Tranlation to the Citrix Server as well. I'm thinking you have Privat addresses internally that the you cannot access outside of the LAN.

So to help you more, my main question is "is the Citrix server accessable from outside of you LAN?"

I can access the Citrix Server with no problems outside the LAN. I can run any app once I log on. I can also access NFuse 1.6 outside the LAN - I get the log on screen, I can log on and see all the apps but when I click on any it tells me that there is no Citrix Server.

I did not do the "ALTADDR" thing - do you think this may be the problem? If it is how do I use it?

Thanks for responding

Here is an article that should describe the problem you are having. It's refering to NFuse 1.51 but this is the same case for 1.6.

Goto Citrix's KB site and look up this doc CTX570635

If this does not help. Do this for me. Logon to your NFuse website from outside the LAN. Once you get your app list, right-click on of them and do a "Save Target as...". This should give you a the option to save a "Launch.ica" file. Save it to your desktop.

Now if you are not familiar with ICA files, they basically have all the information that the ICA client needs to connect to your Citrix Server. Things such as Screen size, screen color, published app name, and the most important one for you... the IP address of the Citrix Server. Make sure that NFuse is writing the correct address in this file.
ICA files can be opend and modified using NOTEPAD.
If your still not sure if the ICA file was created correctly, post the contents of the file so I can look at it.

You might want to post a new Thread to have others look at it as well and respond to this so I know you have posted it.

Good Luck

Thanks a million. You have helped me accomplish what no one else was able to do. The document did the trick!!

Thanks again for all your help.
