I have one extension (1234) that is set to forward to another (6789)
I beleive it is because of the below command for extension 1234:
FTR CFW 4 6789

my question is, how do you turn this off?

that is really simple, I know, but I cannot find a reference on the web to simply do away with it.

is someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Are you looking to do it from the phone?
From the NTP's:
To forward all calls from a Meridian 1 proprietary (digital)telephone:
1 Press Forward.
2 Dial the number where calls are to be forwarded.
3 Press Forward.
To cancel Call Forward All Calls:
• Press Forward.

To forward calls from an analog (500/2500 type) telephone:
1 Lift the handset and dial SPRE 74
or lift the handset and dial #1 (2500 telephone)
or lift the handset and dial the Call Forward Allowed FFC.
2 Dial the number where calls are to be forwarded.
3 Hang up.

Remotely you can just rebuild that key as cfw 4 and it will take the forward off.

I forgot to put this part in for analog.
To cancel Call Forward All Calls:
• Lift the handset and dial SPRE 74
or lift the handset and dial #1 (2500 telephone)
or lift the handset and dial the Call Forward Deny FFC.

I wouldn't delete the CFW key when its active, you could corrupt the DN if the system doesn't rewrite the memory registers correctly. If you're in house, use the remote call forward feature. It may take about 15 minutes to set it up if its not already active, but the NTP's are very good in stepping you through it.
