We have a StarTalk System with nine extensions. All the phones have a Page-All button programmed on them. Is their a way to turn the Page volume down or off on two of the phones? Two phones are right next to each other so we get feedback, and one is in a conference room. Thanks.

Turn down or off Paging Volume?

Yes, you can turn off both the ability to page and to receive pages under Capabilities for the required sets.

Page: Y/N | this turns off the ability to make a page from a telephone set
Page Zone: 1-6, None | This sets a page zone or turns off in it's entirety the ability to receive page

To turn volume down in quite area use same setting as Background Music:
F86, hit volume bar a few times, F#86.

Never thought to use the Background Music feature to adjust the paging volume. Does that actually work? Gonna have to play tomorrow at the office..

Yes, also now that I think about it you should be able to turn down the volume during an actual page too.
