TTY 0,1,2 ports do not work or are blocked.

Hello everyone

Hms400 as I have a voice mail which is connected massaging my pms Hospitality server, recently conveyed note that no opening line, or change name extensions Room, test hardware environment in ld 37; tty 0, as well as 1.2. but no activity is noticed, right now I have only three cabinet tty expancion working, I can do with the other ports, can guide me to fix it. please.

I'm guessing that you have an Option 11 or 11c system?. TTY ports 0, 1 and 2 are all located on the same cable connector below the SSC card and power unit in the main cabinet.

I would check that the cable hasn't become loose as this would affect all three ports.

So is I have a Nortel Option 11C, checking cable is correctly connected and is not loose.

Could be a faulty SSC card, I've had to replace a few with the same problem. Its normally straight forward, power down system, remove SSC card, swap Security Device and Software Daughter Board to replacement SSC Card, replace card in system and power up.

You could just try pressing the INI button on the SSC card to carry out a warm start as this can unlock any locked up TTY ports, but to have all 3 fail is odd. If that fails, then follow the advice given above.
