TS profiles question

Hi we use TS profiles and wondering if this is a normal feature. When I TS into any server using the standard remote desktop connection my profile carries. When I use mstsc with the console switch is does not.

mstsc /console

Ideally i would like only my TS profile to apply to citrix and not when I maintain my servers.


Is this possible.?

My user account has a TS profile but if I maintain a server I log in with an admin account which is not configured with a TS profile.

I don't beleive there is a way around this. TS profiles do not distinguish between Application mode and Administration mode

There is a reason why one would want to login to the console...to not have any policies apply. This is by design. Login to the server at the console, and you'll have the same result.
