I've had TS running on a server that just has power/network cable to for a while, and it's worked fine. It stopped working recently ("Server's too busy, try again."). I hooked up a montior/keyboard to it and removed/reinstalled TS (still in Remote Admin mode), but it still didn't work. That along with a lot of other problems caused me to reformat, so after the format I thought it'd work fine, but it doesn't. Are there any other issues that could be causing this? Could my client (on a Win2k box) be corrupted somehow? This is all in a workgroup, not a domain BTW. Thanks for any help. Darrell Mozingo

That message usually means there is no connectivity between the server and client.
How are you connecting, by name or ip adress? Can you ping the name from the workstation, can you ping the ipaddress? Can you browse to the server by name or ip adress?

Try recreating the client disks and reloading on the client pc. First remove the old TS client software from the client machine.

All good advice. SP the server, try it again. I recommed that you use IP address whenever possible, even on a internal network.

If it still doesn't work, but you can ping the server: log on to it locally and do a net session to see whos connected. BTW, do this when theres no users on the system!!! make sure that theres not too many ppl using it (such as old TS sessions). If it looks OK make sure that you've re-configured the TS properties (TS Manager) since your re-install.
