Trying to trace a past call

Setting up SMDR so I can look at incoming calls (with caller id) so trace out a malicous call they get periodically. I know how to set it all up so we can trace future calls BUT what about calls from before I set it up. Does the system keep a buffer that i can go out and print out records even though smdr has not been set up yet?

No it does not. you might be able to go back to your carrier because they would have call records, but getting the info out of them might be an issue.
