I have a customer that is ready to cut a check for a IP500 system on one condition, that it can record transferred calls using contact store. Here is the situation.
This is a service company that wants all the calls to come in on one number but the dispatcher will transfer the calls to different technicians throughout the day. The calls will be transferred to their cell phones so the customer has the feeling that they are dealing with someone in the office. The owner wants all the calls recorded to make sure the customer is being handled correctly.
When the call gets transferred to a external phone # the recording stops at that point from my testing.

Has anyone had experience with this? Like said it will be holding up a sale if I cant make it work

IPONEWBIE1 im not to sure what the issue is,you said in your original message that when a call comes in the dispatcher will transfer it off swicth...using the ICR recording does this..call comes in

call gets answered and transfered off switch to mobile...

Maxwell, I set the call recording to on in the ICR but the call doesnt get recorded when automatically transfered. There is the situation where the dispatcher will manually transfer during the day but at night it will be done via a forward unconditional. At night is where I am having the problem as well as during the day. When setting recording to on in the icr it may have very well fixed the daytime problem (which I havent verified) but still leave me with the night time problem (forward unconditional). I apologize that I didnt clearly explain in my original post as I just re-read it and I can see where the confusion is.

ah right i was not aware this was to be done out of hours as well... twinning is the way forward i think especially if all OOH calls are going direct to mobiles instead of VPN phones etc..
