I have recently set up a WPA network in the office using a 3Com access point.

There is one laptop that's quite old. I've used 3 different apdaters, and the internal adapter, and none of them see the network.

I have tried the cards in my own laptop and they also don't see it.

They are quite old cards, one is cheap and nasty, one is a 3Com, and one is a Cisco Aironet CB21AG

I've tried looking for updates for the card but can't seem to find the right stuff.

All other machines can use the network just fine - any ideas?

many older cards do not support WPA2. i had to leave my network @ WPA in order to allow older laptops access

In fact many old cards don't even support WPA

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.

Even if they supported WPA and not WPA2 it wouldn't matter as the network is both.

I thought it may just be a case of old cards, but having googled on the Cisco card and seen WPA mentioned, and the fact that "WPA" is printed as a feature on the cheap and nasty one, made me think otherwise!

They are all old cards anyway, perhaps I should just get a new one.

Thanks for the help
