I have an application that controls a realtime machine. When running under XP, I have an INF file that I need to run so that it can access the port properly. I would like my VB program to run the INF file after the user completes the setup wizard built into the program, but I can't find any information about executing an INF file from within VB. Can anyone help me??????

TIA,
Wade

Wade,
are you wanting to read it or write it?

Neither, I want to EXECUTE it and have it install the programs that it's set to install. I don't care about what it says, I just want to be able to get it to run automatically out of VB.

Thanks,
Wade
