Is there an ASA command that will show me the ID of an ACD agent that is logged in a a specific extension. There are several ways to display the extension if I know the agent ID, but I need a way to do the reverse -- that is, show the Agent ID when I know the extension.

status station will show cf dest which is the agent loginID
you can also list agent to find all stations that agents are logged into.

Thanks Brett, I was hoping it was that easy, but the "CF Destination" field in "stat stat" always displays blank on my switch -- even when I know there's somebody logged in there -- for example;

list agent-loginID 2103

Login Name/ Dir AAS/ Ag
ID Extension Agt AUD COR Pr SO Skil/Lv Skil/Lv Skil/Lv Skil/Lv

The last page of 'status station' will show you the skills that the station is logged into. If your skills are measured, you can use BCMS to identify the agent/station (monitor bcms skill xxx). On newer releases, you can do 'list agents staffed' that will only display agents that are logged in.

status station 4567 (this is the agent loginID)
CF Destination Ext: 1567 (this is the station the agent is logged into)

This works on all loads. I had a typo in the thread above. I hate not being able
to correct this.

This has worked like this forever on all software loads.

I get that, however back to my original question. I know the extension of the physical phone set, but I want to discover the agent ID that's logged in there. Short of viewing "li age staff" (which could be a very long list) is there a way to find this directly?

Sorry, you cannot do this without access to software tables. The list agent staffed could be exported to a spreadsheet and the spreadsheet could quickly be searched.

3408phonegod, do you have CMS? I created a custom report that allows you to enter the extension and it pulls up the agent that is logged into it that I can share with you.

Yes, I do have CMS. Would love to know how you did it?

Select Historical | Agent | Login/Logout (Skill) report

Click on the Copy button and Copy to Designer Category.

Name it what you want (for this example I'll call it Agent By Extension Report)

Select Historical | Designer | Agent By Extension Report

Click on Edit

Select Edit | Queries...

Select Data, then click Edit

Click on Where

Delete ALL of the text in the where clause and copy and paste this into it:

ROW_DATE = [Date:] AND EXTN = [Extension:] and ACD=$acd

Click on New Input

Select Extension in the Input Types window

Click on Add

Click OK

Click Save in the Query Assistant Window, then click OK in the Query Select window.

Click on the Skill field at the top of the report and delete it.

Select Edit | Inputs...

Select the Split/Skill row and click Remove

Click OK.

Select Report | Save

Select Report | Run

Enter Date as today's date or 0

Enter the extension you want to see what agent ID is logged in and click OK.

If an extension has logged into the extension today it will show in the report. If there is no logout time recorded, it is still logged into the extension.

Of course if you want, you can later change the date and extension field to allow for multiple entries.
